Remember When, where it all begins

In 2003, Alan Jackson came out with his hit called, Remember When. It was a beautiful song that described the love between a man and his wife. I remember one afternoon while watching Country Music Videos, my dad stopped what he was doing and watched this video with me. I thought it was unusual, since he had never sat and watched a music video before. At the end of the video, I remember looking over at him thinking he was sort of choked up. He quietly confided to me that my parents never really had a song, but that he couldn't think of a song that better describes him and my mom. I've never heard this song that I don't think of my parents, and their love. Since it is mother's day, it seems right to bring this song up. If it hadn't been for them falling and staying in love, my family wouldn't quite be the same. As cheesy as it sounds, we are all together because two people fell in love.

Taking pictures of my family is special to me. I already think they all walk on water, and then they let me capture them during times that are intimate, cozy, and meant just for family. We have been given to each other by chance, but we became friends by choice. Our family began with a love story. Two young hearts, who walked into each other's life at just the right time, formed into one. As a result, the most amazing family has been created. Welcome to a sneak peak of the Thomas Family.

2 soon turned into 3, 3 soon turned into 4, and 4 soon turned into 5, and 5 soon turned to 6!




As my family got older, we grew. My sisters have fallen in love and as a result, we have 2 more men added to the family. Grant married Jennifer on April, 4, 1998. Matt married Jolie on December 20, 2009. Such nice contributions by my sisters. Couldn't ask for any better brothers.




Just like when mom and dad fell in love and had us kids, both my sisters have given our family quite the collection of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. All are adored!
